Take a look at our Northwest FCA Sports Camp held in Nampa, Idaho at NNU's campus. We hosted 425 student athletes, 59 college athlete leaders, and over 100 coaches & staff come throughout the PNW to improve in their sport, and off the field in growing or beginning their relationship with Jesus

There is greater potential in your life than finding your identity in sports. Living up to your potential is more than what you can do on your own. There’s more to life than playing for the scoreboard.
Rather than measuring your potential by athletic achievements, look to God, the one who created you. There is a greater purpose wrapped up in your potential when your potential is wrapped up in Him.

Potential may be good, but a promise that is true, is great. The great news is that God created you for something more. More than anything you can find through athletic success, God wants to give you the greater promise that comes from Jesus.

Performance counts. It isn’t a bad thing, until it starts producing bad habits, wrong motivations and unnecessary pressure when its for something rather than for Someone; God. Understanding that God is the only person we truly need to please can certainly bring peace, joy and freedom from fear.

When you compete for God, it gives us confidence we are playing and living for a far greater purpose, we don't have to focus on worrying about the outcome when God is with us. Life’s greater purpose has much more to do with God and others than what you can accomplish on your own. It's less about what you do, and more about who God says you are. Live from that place of truth!

“He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less." John 3:30

Potential: Jesus spoke to them again: “I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life.” -John 8:12

Promise: For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. - John 3:16

Performance: I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in me and I in him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without me. - John 15:5

Purpose: As you sent me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. - John 17:18
