Nothing pleases us more than to dedicate our annual FCA Golf Scramble to the great Bill Buckner. Bill was an enthusiastic supporter of The Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Idaho. Bill dedicated his time through his service as an FCA Board Member. Bill dedicated his talents for fishing, hunting, golfing and baseball by donating experiences for auction bidders to join him in these pursuits he loved and by his willingness to sign bats, balls and photos – all to help FCA Idaho raise money for its ministry. And Bill and Jody Buckner dedicated treasure by loyally and constantly generously supporting FCA Idaho. FCA Idaho misses him terribly. Although he was one of baseball’s best hitters, had one of baseball’s longest careers and brought an unmatched competitive spirit to his craft, no one was kinder with his time and more humble than Bill Buckner. From this year forward, our annual golf tournament will always be held in his honor. We praise God for Bill Buckner’s life and impact on FCA Idaho!

All levels of golfers are welcome! The golf tournament helps fund scholarships for our June Northwest Regional Sports Camps and our local Idaho FCA staff!
